"Living the Wisdom" (LTW) is an online Enneagram course for students wishing to learn and practice the wisdom of the Enneagram in community. We are a small group of seekers each committed to our personal and collective awakening, and we are currently enrolling for our next cohort in July!

Over the course of a year, you will have the opportunity to learn and embody the teachings of the Enneagram in a format that encourages personal growth, healing, friendship-building, and authentic spirituality. We emphasize that you are not a type (you have a type!), and that who you are is much deeper than your familiar patterns and attitudes and habits. We support each other in the Work of scraping away the layers of personality that obscure our Essential nature, so that we can live more free and fulfilling lives.

LTW is an online Course conducted entirely over Zoom, so you can join us regardless of location, and all calls are recorded so that if you can't make it or you want to go back and review to deepen your learning, you can watch the call at your convenience.

LTW is led by Ben Campbell, a Riso-Hudson certified Enneagram teacher. The Course was originally founded by Jenny Campbell of Read more about Ben.

What's Included

-Live weekly calls every Tuesday evening from 6:30pm - 8:00pm Eastern time

-Monthly 1:1 Enneagram mentoring sessions with Ben

-Twice monthly office hours

-Peer support (including "pods") and inquiry practice

-"Mighty Networks" online group to interact, share, collaborate, and get support

As you scroll down, keep in mind that while this Course is packed with value, you do not need to do everything! “Living the Wisdom” has been designed to offer you multiple points of entry and multiple sources of insight, support, encouragement, and inspiration. Because all the group calls are recorded, you do not need to be live on every call. You can absolutely pick and choose what works for you and your schedule! (Calls are confidential and recordings are only available to the group members.)

Weekly Tuesday Calls

Every Tuesday we meet via video-conference call (Zoom) to discuss the current chapter in The Wisdom of the Enneagram, ask questions, practice meditation and inquiry, share our struggles and breakthroughs, and receive guidance on the practical application of the teachings in our daily life. These calls are recorded so that if you need to miss a session, you can catch up when you have time.

Readings from The Wisdom of the Enneagram

Don Riso and Russ Hudson’s The Wisdom of the Enneagram serves as the backbone and the source material for the Course. Each week from July through December, and again from January through June, we read one chapter and bring our questions, reflections, insights, and challenges to the group calls and private sessions. Past members report that going through the book a second time has tremendous value; they “get it” on a deeper level and are often pleasantly surprised at how much has changed for them since the first time around. Going through the book twice also eases the feeling of overwhelm; you can just take in what you are ready for and let the rest wait until next time.

1-1 Private Enneagram Sessions with Ben

Your enrollment in LTW includes one private Enneagram session with Ben per month for the duration of the course (5 per semester). Private sessions are an opportunity for you to explore whatever is arising for you as you participate in the course. As we do this work, it is inevitable that we will start to experience our lives in new ways, and it can be disorienting without a teacher to check in with. Private sessions are a chance to find a place to “ground,” to get feedback on your process, to ask questions, and to deepen the integration of the Work with your life.

Office Hours

In addition to the weekly Tuesday calls, we will also have occasional weekend "Office Hours" calls, which are an open opportunity to connect with me and the other participants and ask questions, find support, and explore topics that are personally interesting to you. Some Office Hours times will be Bonus Calls, which are mini-workshops taught by Ben on a particular topic. The July Semester will feature a series of Bonus Calls on the Inner Critic patterns!

Peer Support

Inner Work is hard, and it's even harder when you don't have a group to do it with. One of the primary functions of "Living the Wisdom" is to be an authentic Inner Work Community. Because every single person in the Course has committed themselves to seeing their own patterns honestly, to be Present as much as possible, and to honor the mystery and journey of our fellow students, there is a field of trust, respect, and encouragement that helps carry us through our own toughest patterns. You will find that when the personality steps aside, it becomes possible to really see another person for the amazing being that they are. We call these "essence friendships," and are the connections that make "Living the Wisdom" worth it for many students.

Dynamic Group Evolution

We enroll two groups each year, with everyone invited to the same Tuesday calls and Office Hours. New members benefit from veteran members’ experience, and veteran members benefit from the fresh perspective of the new members. Now that "Living the Wisdom" has been underway for a while, the current and former members of the Course have been generating a field of Presence for many months now, so as a newcomer, you are able to step in to a space that has been "warmed up," and you may find yourself invited to settle and open up rather quickly.

Over time, the combination of readings, weekly calls, the Mighty Networks group, and peer support will come to feel like solid ground beneath your feet: a touchstone that is always here to remind you of your "why"--the reason you've made a commitment to Inner Work.

There are currently twelve students in "Living the Wisdom," and we will be welcoming about five new students to our group in July.

Mighty Networks Online Forum

LTW uses an online forum called Mighty Networks as a place to gather online. The group allows us to share posts, media, personal wins and struggles, ask questions, collaborate, and so on. Current students have found the online group to be an invaluable source of connection, support, information, and fun!

There are two steps in the enrollment process:

  1. First, complete the Readiness Assessment. This will reserve your spot until you've made a decision!

  2. At the end of the assessment, there will be a link to schedule a 45 minute exploratory call with me, during which we can discover together whether Living the Wisdom is a good fit.
